Hello from Team Data Science Weekend! We are super excited to have you here with us!

This document that we have cheekily titled "Data Chai Tapri" is a one-stop guide that we have put together to help you make the most out of Data Science Weekend!

So, what's a "Chai Tapri"?

A chai tapri is the Hindi (an Indian language) equivalent of tea stall. These stalls are usually very small establishments, often present in the vicinity of Information Technology parks in the country. These places are like the hub for employees to hang out, have some tea, munch on some crispy savouries and exchange their views on anything under the sun!

An example of a chai tapri. If you ever visit India, do try some masala chai from a tapri 🙂

Now, why is this doc called a chai tapri?

Well, precisely because it works like a chai tapri. This doc will provide the attendees with quite a large amount of resources (like how a tapri provides food and nourishment) and help you interact with other attendees via comments (like how people meet at a tapri. Also, the concept of a chai tapri sounded fun 😂

We hope this little idea we have put together helps you make the most out of Data Science Weekend!
